Francis is a founding director of LIVESTOCK, and has curated, performed and produced for this Dublin-based performance art platform.
The idea came after experiencing similar events in Berlin and London, and realising an absence of equivalent opportunities, supports and environments in Ireland. LIVESTOCK events have been held at diverse venues such as the Market Studios, The Complex and MART Galleries as well as offsite at 12 Henrietta Street and Art Lott. It has also toured and partnered with other arts communities throughout Ireland, including Limerick’s Occupy Space (2014) and Belfast’s Black Box (2017). A loose-knit and core of artists and supporters now form the collective which is LIVESTOCK, encouraging and facilitating the country’s varied community of live performance art.
